This superb and original Victorian classic Archaeological Revival cameo locket example boasts delicate fretwork framing and a substantial glass locket reverse. With all the bells and whistles that we look for in a fine piece of Victorian decorative cameo jewelry, what I love most about this locket is the substantial quality of the central portrait, the lovely bale, and the “s” hook at the bottom for the modular addition of any drop pendant, tassel, cross, or whatever you please. It is a very exceptional example and we are honored to bring it to market here at the Curio.
