An exciting firework cluster ring featuring two Australian opals cut as pear-shaped cabochons set with no less than 12 brilliant diamonds, this vintage example just takes my breath away. With a fiery play of color in each of the opals, this gorgeous ring with a classic period-appropriate knife band would make a stellar addition to any collection, particularly one interested in the interaction of playful geometric shapes. I love how the brilliant diamonds have been triangle set to create a petal-like presentation around the larger and smaller opals. This ring would look wonderful stacked as well as solo, perhaps even as a right hand ring. I can only imagine the exciting cocktail party conversations she has overheard in her long, luscious lifetime. We are very excited to see her off to her next adventure.
