A rare Victorian watch chain and perfect for wear as a Y-chain necklace, this taille du peigne chain is a wonderful American aesthetic movement jewel, featuring three black enamel embellished elements (taille du peigne). The rare dog clip, which unscrews to open, makes this a particularly sought after 1870’s example. It’s not everyday that we come across such sensual Victorian treasures.
