14ct Pearl & Agate Drop Earrings c. 1875

The Curio

Description:

These beautiful pearl and agate drop earrings feature Archaeological Revival star motifs, which is underscored by the banded agate, creating that bullseye effect. I just love the pearl tops - I’m not completely sure if these tops have always been with these earrings, but as a unit they look incredible together. When you put them on, they create such a sleek and sexy look, and you can see that the bold lines that were popular in the 1860’s are softened and more celestial, creating a magnificent glow.
