A Victorian double gloved hand bracelet, each wearing their own bracelets, joined by the knot of love and set with a stunning pearl haloed garnet. This exceptional bracelet is just above and beyond, unlike anything I have ever had. This is a museum quality piece circa 1850-1865 with incredible symbolism: the two hands holding the interlocking knot of love might have been a marriage gift or an anniversary present. You can even see the stitching on the texture of the gloves that extend down from the knuckle, the hand-etched detail, as though a lace cuff at the edge; everything about this bracelet was painstakingly rendered. This classic Victorian piece defies the norm; I have seen a lot more snake bracelets than I have seen interlocking hand bracelets. I am smitten with it and I believe it will be a landmark addition to any collection.
