This invisibly set paste beauty is a lovely early 19th century example that features a massive Peruzzi cut paste stone at the center that appears as an exceptional mine cut diamond. Flanked on all sides by beautifully foiled pastes, this ring absolutely stopped me in my tracks when I first laid eyes on her. She has such a unique cruciform shape and the genius setting the central stone makes it seem to levitate. This is a jewel of true historical import: the shoulders are classic of the 1800’s architecture. I am so excited about this ring and I am certain it will go to a very worthy, immaculate collection.
