This wonderful 15ct late Georgian to early Victorian “forget me not” ring features pearls that have been alternatively set with little rose cut diamonds. She boasts a central pale, pastel pink topaz that sets the entire construction of the ring off. I adore this one! It has been resized, perhaps to the benefit of someone with a size 10 finger, which is very uncommon to find in jewelry from this period. What I really love about this ring is the signature vibrant coloring of the 15ct gold, and the wonderful scrolling detail that is so sought after on the shoulders. I think that it is such a special piece because the profile is also very delicate, and you can absolutely stack her with other pieces and use her as a collection enhancer to add to other jewels of any era: I could see it stacked with a diamond band, a simple gold band, or as something that is ultimately used as a dressed up version of a wedding stack. This ring is actually quite reminiscent of summer, so I wanted to include it in our mid-winter “holiday interim” drop.
