This is a gorgeous Edwardian period, Australian cotton candy opal in a classic solitaire setting. Likely from the Lightning Ridge Mine, an electric neon green plume defines the foreground of this pink to periwinkle opal. The bezel setting is in near mint condition, indicating that the stone is all original. Not to mention the exceptional “18 CT” English cartouche hallmark on the band, this opal is destined for greatness in whatever collection it joins.
