This rare Georgian silhouette is set in an Edwardian frame with delicate spider webbing details, adorned delicately with rose cut diamonds set in platinum. A real beauty in the ephemeral nature of the portrait, this piece is set with a curved glass face that cannot be lifted, as it would destroy the delicate portrait underneath. The portrait dates from the very early 19th century and the setting from the early 20th.
