This delicious and desirable 18ct satyr intaglio conversion ring has a beautiful closed reverse, which was classic of the late 18th century. This rare intaglio was likely converted later and is the perfect scale for stacking with bands and creating an interactive jewelry wardrobe, as this ring can also be utilized as a seal. The intaglio figure wears a small helmet, has a satyr’s legs, wheat, and is holding what might very well be a heart while standing atop a column.
