55" Pinchbeck Box Chain Circa 1840
What an amazing example of an early Victorian long guard- particularly in the coveted 55” length. We almost never find exceptional chains of this era, especially in all original condition with fully articulated links; this chain almost needs to be touched to be believed. Like an amorphous river of golden light, this Pinchbeck chain is going to make a landmark addition to any collection focused on special historical pieces.
