An exceptional mid 19th century solid 9ct Scottish agate bracelet. This museum quality example, with the finest Scottish specimen agate and jasper I’ve ever seen, is a cut above. Featuring a beautiful, sensually curved padlock with a tongue and groove, square cut clasp, this bracelet checks all the boxes for the discerning collector who is interested in a magnum opus agate acquisition. Including a beautiful picture locket on the reverse of perhaps the loved one of the bracelet’s original owner, every surface of the double spacer stations has been lovingly hand etched, as well as on the padlock. With gorgeous square cut central stations in so many different colorways of agate: from blue lace to moss, from ochre agate to smoky quartz and pink jasper, this bracelet is simply fantastic. We are certain that whoever acquires this exceptional bracelet will treasure it for a lifetime.
