This outstanding French pendant is a textbook example of the mid 18th century opulence that characterized the French court aesthetic, but in sterling and paste rather than diamond. Likely the doppelganger of a luxuriant diamond drop, this paste example is in mint condition with perfectly intact original foil and 67 sparking stones. This piece is beautifully molded on the reverse and expertly articulated, featuring a shimmering pear halo drop and entwined ribbon bale. This outstanding historical treasure will be a star in whatever collection she joins.
