Materials and Features:
14ct yellow gold
Victorian c.1870s, Aesthetic Movement.
Weight: 3.4 g each
Dimensions: 2.5” x 0.75”
Condition: Overall very good; the most noticeable issue is the dented posterior of one of the earrings. It is also possible that the tops of the earrings, with the French hooks, are a later replacement. Still, the earrings show signs of always having been earrings, and not conversions. Otherwise, the earrings have held up well over the many years, maintaining a vibrant sunny luster, paired well with a luscious, subtle patina to the finer details. The tops of the earrings are articulated well, allowing for a comfortable wear.
Please view and inspect any photos closely. We endeavor to fully disclose all condition information clearly and concisely, however, please note that what qualifies as excellent condition for historical jewelry differs from modern and contemporary pieces; please take the age of the piece into account when examining the piece. Minor age wear is typical and to be expected for antique and vintage jewelry.
