Overall very good, considering the age of the piece; there is some wear to the onyx pieces at various points. We encourage you to be careful with this piece to avoid hitting the onyx against any hard surfaces and potentially chipping it. The gold has a bright and sunny luster, with sturdy craftsmanship, and sturdily-set pearls. The portrait miniature on the posterior surface of the pendant has held up well, with a nice contrasted array of tones, clearly portraying the image of the individual.
