This is a classic early 18th century emblem with exceptional color in the coral. The detail is superb and one of this size and level of craftspersonship is extremely rare. The figa grasps a bouquet of flowers, that when inverted shows a dog’s face, indicative of not only affection but loyalty. A truly rare and special treasure to enjoy for lifetimes to come.

Condition: Overall very good condition. The coral shows some expected signs of age wear but looks wonderful for it’s age. The gold top is smooth and vibrant with some minor surface wear. The carving is beautifully done and gives the piece incredible dimensions. This is definitely a fabulous conversation piece and would make a great addition to any collection!
