An absolutely fabulous sunstone and sterling silver slide chatelaine. Likely French in origin, this beautiful silver example has no less than four herringbone channel chains on which two wonderful stations slide back and forth to create dynamic motion. A third medallion with nine serpent chains extends down from the massive “c” clasp as a wonderful drop. This originally would have been used as a watch chain or a chatelaine extension but today it can be worn as a necklace if desired.
