I love these sweet opal earrings! They are petite, perfect for stacking with multiple piercings, and a great example of Victorian Revival. You can see Etruscan Revival detailing around the exterior of the earrings and I love that this was revived in the 1960’s; usually with Victorian Revival and 1960’s jewelry we see a lot of floral themes reflecting the classic Aesthetic Movement, but these have a little bit more of that Etruscan Revival look, which likely wasn’t even intentional in the execution of their design and frivolous detail. I think that is what makes these earrings stand out. These beauties are set with a stud back but could always be modified into French hooks if desired. We love these earrings are certain that they will be a classic addition to your collection.
